We'd like to thank you for considering the South Loop Farmers Market (SLFM) this season and for your perseverance and creativity as we continue to nourish and educate our community. We're so excited to grow with you this year!
For over a decade, SLFM has been a catalyst in pushing forward the local food & maker movement in Chicago's rapidly growing South Loop community. Our markets will not only accommodate our diverse and booming South Loop/Near South community, but will also serve as a destination market for visiting travelers, nearby McCormick Place Convention Center attendees, and neighboring guests traveling from city-wide and suburban locations.
In addition to SLFM’s marketing team, PDNA (the south loop’s leading community organization), Roosevelt Collection Shops Marketing & Media department, and many nearby residential highrises, travel & tourism agencies, & surrounding hotels will also be endorsing and supporting our independent market.
SLFM will offer a comprehensive PR and digital marketing campaign throughout the season to keep customers excited and every digital channel buzzing!

SLFM Markets will also offer a robust special event calendar throughout the season, including weekly live entertainment & children’s programming, pet activities, as well as fitness, educational, and other select special events. Our customers will also be treated to free onsite 2-hour validated parking at Roosevelt Collection and Water Tower Place!

You are not required to apply to multiple market locations, but if you do want to apply to multiple locations, you will need to apply to each location separately.

SLFM will accept vendors selling a variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, plants, flowers, baked goods, meats, prepared & ready-to-eat foods, and relevant non-food items (including art, home goods, beauty products, vintage & handmade clothing, and other handmade goods).

We prioritize vendor applicants who make their product personally, source their materials as locally & ethically as possible, especially farmers, growers, and businesses who prioritize inclusivity and regenerative environmental practices.
